NMUN Conferences - Expanding our Reach Globally
Our programs provide a diverse group of informed students and faculty a forum for addressing global concerns in a "real world" context. Conferences address important issues including regional conflicts, peacekeeping, human rights, women and children, economic and social development, and the environment. In its simplest sense, we work to provide student participants with a better understanding of the inner working of the UN as they build skills in diplomacy and compromise. |

World's Largest College-level Model UN
NMUN•NY brings 5,000+ delegates from five continents to New York City annually. This preeminent conference simulates 20 committees selected to engage students in discussions of current global issues. The UN Headquarters provide an impressive backdrop. |

Partnering with the Osgood Center
NMUN•DC hosts nearly 480 delegates and offers six committees as well as a Security Council for unaffiliated delegates. NMUN•DC is developmental – focused on teaching new delegates. A modified version of NY rules are enforced and all Directors and Assistant Directors are NMUN-trained. This conference is excellent prep for NMUN•NY.

This milestone conference was the first NMUN outside North America. Held four months after the Beijing Olympics, NMUN•China welcomed an international gathering of almost 300 MUN enthusiasts to Xi’an, guided by the Olympic ideal of “One World, One Dream.” The conference offered rigorous debate and cultural experiences including visits to the Terra Cotta Warriors and ancient city wall. |
