NMUN•NY 2008 LOGISTICS

Participants are encouraged to stay at the conference hotel. If staying at the NMUN hotel, you must reserve rooms corresponding to your conference date. The hotels are the site of most committee sessions and a short distance from the United Nations. Special room rates have been arranged for all participants. These rates are only available to registered schools, not through Sheraton or Marriott phone or Web reservations.

The final registration deadline for each hotel is one month prior to NMUN. Additional information regarding hotel registration will be provided to registered schools.

UN FACILITIES

Our goal is that all delegates will have access to the United Nations facilities for Opening Ceremonies and plenary sessions. However, due to capacity constraints in the Great Hall, delegates will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. If needed, we may allocate tickets or utilize satellite rooms in the UN Building. Should you have questions regarding this policy, please contact the Conference Secretary-General.
